The Phil Hendrie Show continues to grow, adding nine new affiliates in recent weeks including market #4, Clear Channel's KNEW, San Francisco, where Hendrie airs live at 10 p.m. PST on "910 AM More Stimulating Talk." The Phil Hendrie Show has passed the century mark in affiliates, now on 108 stations from coast to coast.

Earlier this week, WCBS-TV sports anchors began providing nightly reports on WFAN. Now the WCBS-TV/Channel 2 weekday weather forecasters are getting some radio exposure too. John Elliott and Lonnie Quinn are handling the weather updates between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

It has been confirmed that the 6Music and Asian Network radio stations will be closed as BBC director general Mark Thompson unveiled the corporation's future strategy. Mr Thompson also confirmed that the teen services Switch and Blast would be shut down, saying Channel 4 should lead the way in programming for this market.
